I have a great idea for a new ride. Can I send it to Eli Bridge Co. for consideration?

Due to various legal, liability and patent issues we are unable to consider ideas from anyone not employed by Eli Bridge Company. To comply with this policy, our receiving staff must destroy new product ideas immediately upon receipt and are forbidden from discussing any submissions with our engineering or management staff.

It might also be of interest to know that we are currently working on new product ideas and enhancements up to five years in advance. Even if we were able to consider a new ride idea, it would not enter the research and development stage for several years.

What experience and education are necessary to work at an amusement ride manufacturer?
The Eli Bridge team consists of creative, well-rounded engineers who are very familiar with dynamical and structural analysis. One needs to have a mechanical engineering degree and be well-versed with CAD systems.

Although all of our engineering positions are currently filled, we do retain engineering resumes received by regular mail for future consideration if a position should become available.

In addition to our design team members, we also employee welders, electricians, metal workers and general laborers. If you are interested in a position with Eli Bridge Company, please watch for openings.

Are product brochures and price lists available to the public?

The primary reason for creating our Web site was to provide easy access to general information about our company and products. The information and specifications found within this site are the most current and contain the same information which was once included in printed materials.

Since our products are continually enhanced, brochures and specification sheets quickly become outdated and are no longer printed.

Also, prices fluctuate regularly and are influenced by several factors including material costs, optional additions/upgrades and market conditions.

For these reasons – and out of respect for the privacy of our customers – it is our policy not to release prices to the general public.

Can you provide me with any history on the company since it is over 100 years old?

Yes, we have a 100th Anniversary History Booklet on Eli Bridge Company that is available for $10.00 plus shipping.

Can you send me some engineering information for my engineering class?
Since all of our prints are proprietary, we do not send them out to anyone. We have a very small Engineering Staff and they are extremely busy. Please do not ask to speak with them to get engineering information, they have been instructed not to do so.

How often should I change my Unit Pole Bearings on my Scrambler®?
Replace your Top and Bottom Bearings every 3,000 hours or 4 years, whichever comes first.

What should I do if someone is rocking their seat on my BIG ELI® Wheel?

Take them off IMMEDIATELY! Almost every person who has fallen from a wheel was warned to stop rocking at least once – and didn’t – before they fell.

How should my operators check to be sure the handlebar is properly latched on my BIG ELI® Wheel seat?

After closing the handlebar and being sure the J-casting is in the “cup,” check to be sure the plunger knob is all the way in and then solidly hit up from the bottom of the handlebar to see if you can dislodge it.
